Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

Carry out communication programs for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 brands, aiming at strengthening the brand and generating business opportunities for other functional areas, sponsors and partners. Collaborate to ensure the correct transmission of a unique visual and verbal message of the Games to engage the various audiences.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acting in communicate the image of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 brands.
  • Implementation of branding materials and documents for all sub-brands, Look of the Games, mascots, torches, medals, uniforms, pictograms and other related programs such as Volunteers, Culture, Education, Licensing, etc.
  • Capability of applying and using the image and visual identity of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, defining the most appropriate tools (including guidelines) and rules, which will enable a consistent positioning of the brand.
  • Provide visual identity assistance to other functional areas, sponsors and partners, advising them on the correct use of the brand and symbols of the Games in their main activities, ensuring the correct application of the visual identity of the MICO 2026 Games.
  • Ensure the integrity of brands associated with the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, coordinating application approval actions.
  • Maintain full integration with other areas of the OCOG, mainly with licensing, sponsorship, marketing, brand protection, events and ceremonies, in order to inform and obtain information regarding brand management programs and actions.
  • Partner with Marketing &Sponsorship, and Communication teams to maximize partners’ activation of the MICO 2026 Games.
  • Ensure the planning and execution of all actions to promote the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 brands.
  • Select and manage specific suppliers (design and brand agencies, among others), in order to guarantee alignment in all actions with the brands’ value and tone of voice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and Master/Post Graduation degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in communication in companies and/or agencies
  • Good communication skills,
  • Good working knowledge of English
  • MS OFFICE
