Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

The Client Services and LoS Manager has the key role to identify and negotiate the needs of different types of Olympic and Paralympic clients in order to ensure their maximum satisfaction through the implementation of an efficient and well-organized transportation system, defining transportation services based on customer requirements.


With the aim of effectively and efficiently managing all transportation services during the preparation and execution phases of the Games, plan vehicle requirements in qualitative and quantitative terms and oversee all activities related to their availability within defined timelines.


  • Identify the categories of services required and/or the needs of all individuals who need to move between Olympic venues during the Games.
  • Identify service levels (LoS) in alignment with customer needs, ensuring coordination with other functions. Formalize LoS and ensure their negotiation and approval by customers.
  • Ensure the drafting of SLAs and DLAs, agreements regarding negotiated service levels.
  • Define and verify, from an operational management perspective, the vehicle requirements for transportation services, with reference to the fleet of cars and vehicles required by the IOC and the Games organization.
  • Identify vehicle usage timelines and accordingly determine the various procurement phases.
  • Confirm procurement and partnership strategies and manage relationships with external suppliers and sponsors.
  • Plan driver requirements, define recruitment guidelines for them, and schedule training activities in collaboration with the respective departments.
  • Define the needs and operational procedures for transit permits and infrastructure usage.
  • Plan functional logistical aspects (parking, storage, supporting documentation, etc.), also in collaboration with potential external partners.
  • Prepare the necessary data to define the activity budget.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Pro-active approach and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Knows how newspapers/television/websites are structured, how they approach work.
  • Profound experience in event management, including working with and coordinating suppliers.
  • Respect of policies and procedures.
  • 10 years of experience in the same or similar role.
  • Experience in detailed planning, implementing and operating media operations at international sports, preferably in previous Olympic Games.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international sports media landscape.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent.
  • Driving License.
  • Excellent language skills in English, preferably also in French.
  • Good knowledge of usual office software and Internet.
  • Ability to communicate, organize, and work independently in carrying out tasks.
  • Editorial skills for drafting contracts and service specifications.
  • Ability to manage personnel and vehicles in terms of services organization, operational management, and problem resolution.
  • Experience in the field of transportation planning for previous international sports or non-sports events.
  • Experience in managing customer relationships in complex and diverse contexts.
  • Experiences related to fleet management in international events or companies.
