Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
We are looking for Host City Mobility Specialist Traffic & Last Mile.
The identified resource will be responsible for:
- Analysis of baseline and event-generated traffic data;
- Analysis of road axes affected by the event flows and identification of critical points;
- Support in defining the temporary traffic measures to be adopted during the event in light of the analyses conducted;
- Support in identifying the best solutions for the management of spectator loading/unloading operations and related pedestrian connection with competition sites;
- Support in the drafting of reports necessary for the authorization process of mobility plans at the appropriate bodies (Regions, Provinces, Prefectures, etc.);
- Support in drafting operational plans (location of traffic filters to be implemented, time windows of operation, resources needed, etc.);
- Planning and implementation of a car pass system intended for residents, businesses, etc. aimed at ensuring continuity of operation in the area;
- Support in the operational implementation of defined mobility plans;
- Support in the management of internal relations with other functional areas of MiCo26 for the planning of the Last Mile project, corresponding to the final route to be taken by spectators to enter the competition sites.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture
- Excellent data analysis, interpretation and synthesis skills
- Excellent ability to use the Office package, especially Microsoft Excel
- Excellent skills in using the following tools: AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Illustrator
- Previous experience in the field of transportation and road planning preferred
- Excellent knowledge of both the Italian and English languages
- Good “problem solving” skills and in managing multiple tasks in parallel
- Good negotiation skills and predisposition to work in a team
