Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
We are looking for Volunteers Recruitment Coordinator.
The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing a clear, meaningful, and memorable recruitment experience for the over 20.000 Volunteers that will be selected for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The mission is to implement an effective recruitment campaign in close collaboration with Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games stakeholders. The main objective is to ensure Volunteers are informed, sourced, available, and appropriately matched to roles which best suit their skills and motivation.
The ambition is to generate socially enriching opportunities for all participants, consolidating a long lasting legacy for sport volunteering.
The main accountabilities include:
-Create awareness and represent the Volunteer Programme at every stage, managing all recruitment related activities with commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion;
-Support the Recruitment Manager in defining and implementing the Volunteer Programme Recruitment Plan and operations;
-Liaise with all relevant stakeholders involved in the recruitment of the Volunteer Programme, acting as a key contact person, defining SOP, preparing and delivering training and preparing necessary toolkits if necessary;
-Consult with Volunteer Manager recruitment along the recruitment process (screening and interviews) and ensure successful applicants are appropriately matched to roles. Monitor interviews outcomes and set correct targets or adjust them along the way;
-Plan and prepare activities calendar in designated recruitment centre(s) and supervise all set up procedures as well as recruitment steps (check-in, brief, interview, engagement, etc);
-Developing effective training activities for all recruiters;
-Supervise and monitor recruiter activities daily ensuring standards are met;
-Liaise with FA requesting to be involved in the recruitment process and facilitate all operations related;
-Plan and supervise international and remote recruitment and online interviews processes;
-Consult with Workforce Communication Manager to establish volunteer communication needs at every step of the recruitment;
-Consult with System Manager to establish workforce systems set up for interview invitations and booking, pre-assignment and assignment;
-Follow and prepare test event, if applicable;
-Transition into a Games Time Workforce Operations position.
- 4+ years of proven experience in large scale events and excellent interpersonal relationship skills due to continuous involvement with Volunteers and other stakeholders.
-Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural competencies.
-Strong communication skills.
-Previous involvement in Volunteer Programme(s) is an asset.
-Proficient Italian both spoken and written.
-Proficient English both spoken and written any further language is a plus.
